2025–2026 Grant Awards

The Will County Community Mental Health Board (WCCMHB) has announced the allocation of its 2025 annual grant awards, providing funding to 42 programs managed by 39 entities throughout the county. The funding will expand existing services, increasing access and care to residents throughout Will County.

The WCCMHB aims to aid individuals in the enhancement, maintenance, and/or restoration of their mental health within the context of their environment. The Community Mental Health Act (405 ILCS 20/1) provides that a Community Mental Health Board will plan, fund, coordinate, and evaluate public services for prevention and treatment of persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use challenges locally.

Through the grant program, the Board is committed to moving local mental health services toward a more equitable care system, resulting in optimal health and quality of life for all community members.
